Halloween Treat bag Toppers and treat favor

Hello Crafters,

I have been busy working on some Halloween Treat bag toppers and favors using some of the awesome new stamps available now in the new holiday catalog. There are some many cool sets
in this new catalog that it's hard to pick just one, lol, but since I was in the mood to do some Halloween favors I chose the Cauldron bubble stamp set #147710 photopolymer......it does have framelits that go with, but I only have the stamps and I chose the Spooky sweets bundle #149973 clear mount which comes with the trio of bats punch.

So having limited current products I did use a non Stampinup die for first little favor, although looking through the current catalog I see many other framelits that would also work......and my wish list is growing :)

Super easy to make, this holds the small bag of m and m's or it could hold a small candy bar,  using the die as my size guide I cut card stock the width of the die, then added a score line where it would be the halfway point when folded on the score line. I then ran it thru the big shot being careful to keep the bottom cutting line slightly below the folded edge. The die cuts the top edges even then you just have to decorate and add a treat, I used a ribbon tied to hold together. The dsp is from the holiday catalog as well it's the Toil and Trouble #147531

I also created some cello bag toppers

I have 2 versions on the left was a case from the catalog, basically I began with a large label framelit
used the Spooky sweets and silver heat embossing to create the background, an orange moon, punched out bats and a tag made with white heat embossing, just add to the top of a filled cello bag for a sweet spooky treat.

On the right I also used a large label base cut out of the Toil and Trouble dsp, added a piece of fence from the farmhouse framelits # 147922 added the stamped ghosts and moon, with a tag that was stamped and heat embossed white. They have a back piece too to finish it off.....

Dreaming of the tropics Greeting Card

Hello Crafters,

Let me introduce myself, I am Tamara Gadberry, artist, papercrafter, and StampinUp! Demonstrator.
I started this blog to share my tutorials, and fun papercrafts I will be creating using StampinUp! products.

They have a fabulous new annual catalog that was just released a couple months ago.....if you need a copy of your own just send me an email: papercrafts247@gmail.com   with your request and I will ship a catalog to you......or you can view the catalog right now at my website:

http://www.papercrafts247.stampinup.net

There is a clearance section for some great buys!

Today I have a greeting card I created using the stamp set "Chase your dreams" cutting dies, the "Petals and more" thinlet dies, the "Dragonfly dreams" stamp set and Tropical Escape dsp.
If you are here because you viewed my Live video tutorial, thank you! Please sign up at FB  to receive notification when I post Live.....my Prize Patrol will begin in September!!!

Here are some photos:

I have the details if you would like to create this card yourself:

Whisper white cs  8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Granny Apple cs cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
Tropical escape dsp cut at 3 3/4" x 5"

Layer onto card front starting with granny apple then tropical escape.

Use big shot to cut out 2 feathers(1 with tropical escape dsp and 1 with garden green cs) and 2 medallions (from granny apple green cs) from the "Chase your dream"s cutting dies, and cut the label (with whisper white) and small flower piece (with garden green cs) from the "Petals and more" thinlets.
I stamped the dragonfly from the "Dragonfly dreams" stamp set onto a pretty pinkish print from the tropical escape dsp using garden green ink. Also stamp the sentiment onto the ww cs label using garden green.  I stamped the inside sentiment also using garden green.
I used liquid glue to dot the dragonfly wings then sprinkled them with dazzling diamonds glitter

I cut the medallions in half then attached one half to the top and one half to the bottom of the label. (See photograph)
Another half is attached to the inside along with the flower piece.
When dry attach label piece to the card front top right with dimensionals.  Add the 2 feather pieces.
The dragonfly is attached with dimensionals to the bottom left corner.
I finished with a bit of glitter enamel dots.

You can view a live video tutorial of this project on my facebook page. Just look for Papercrafts247.

Thank you for stopping by, stop by again soon for more projects and tutorial!

Have a great day, Tamarad
